Robert Kiyosaki has the Answer for You!
Are you one of the many who has found that their safe secure job is no longer? Or are you lucky and only your hours have been cut? Are you starting to realize that a job, your current one or any other, will not take you where you want to financially? Do you have aspirations to do so much more with your life? To have so much more? To become so much more? To use your money to make money? Well Robert Kiyosaki and I have an answer for you. I pulled Robert’s answer from his latest book “The Business of the 21st Century“.
First, you are so right in the realization that your job, with its insecurity, its income being taxed at the highest rates and its lack of tax deductions, will not create the financial freedom that you are looking for. We all can now certainly see the insecurity in the job market. We can all watch and experience the increase in the unemployment rate. As an employee, your destiny is determined by people who you have no control over, and your personal situation and needs are the farthest from the minds of those that make the decision.
In regards to the tax rates that apply to the earned income you receive from your employment, the tax rate is not limited in any way for this type of income like it is for capital gains or passive income types. Therefore, if your earned income is significant in amount, it will be taxed in the highest tax bracket which is currently set to be 35% in 2010 and 39.6% in 2011. Does Uncle Sam deserve that much of your hard earned money?
As an employee, the only tax deductions you know are your mortgage interest, your property taxes, your charitable contributions and maybe some medical deductions. That’s pretty much it for an employee. There are so many more deductions that will reduce your taxable income and therefore your tax bill, but they are not available to you if you only work for someone else.
Most of us are now sick and tired of only making someone else financially secure, right? As Robert says in his book, “72% of all adult Americans would rather work for themselves than for a job, and 67% think about quitting their jobs regularly or constantly.” If you are in either or both of these groups, congratulate yourself! You are on the right track and you need to start making headway on that track.
In Robert’s book, he tells of an excellent answer that will really take you where you want to go. This answer falls within the B for Big Business quadrant in Robert’s Cashflow Quadrant diagram. It is in this quadrant, and the I for Investment quadrant, that you want to earn your income from. The other two quadrants, E for Employee and S for Self-employed, will not generate any change for you and will not create the financial freedom you want.
Robert’s business of choice for the 21st century is…drum roll, please…Network Marketing! Yes, you heard me right (unless the drum roll drowned me out), it is Network Marketing. And the key word here as Robert explains, is the “Network“. We can’t create a big business on our own. We need the help of others and as they help us, we help them to create their own network and repeat the process. One of the biggest reasons Robert loves and recommends network marketing is because it is the business model that helps people help each other. It also has become one of the best things Dave and I like about it too.
So in closing, Dave and I hope you’re ready to join us on the right track that leads to all our dreams and financial success. We have such a tremendous guide who is telling us which business is the best business for the 21st century, and we don’t know anyone else whose opinion we would value more in this area. If Robert Kiyosaki recommends network marketing, there is no doubt that that’s the right choice for us, and we hope you’ll give it some valid consideration as well for the benefit to you and your family!

Always have worked for myself even when I worked for others I always thought I could do a better job then my employer would allow me to do. Prove a better quality product etc. But Network Marketing or as people call it Networking is still a new concept. I never dreamed that when I recommend someone’s product I was networking. When I told someone about my great idea and asked how to improve it that was networking. Robert teaches basic and advanced concepts about why we can’t rely on a job to get by. Okay If you need the security fine, but hey if your wife or husband wants to make a go of networking let them, give up a dinner out to start that online business years later you will be glad you did. My wife supported my inventions to create a product from thin air I still do it. Website design is fun. Blogging and sharing information is super fun. Your post was the most educational post I’ve read in years. Thank you Dave.
Just wanted to say that not only do I love the content of your articles but I like the way you write them. It's just like sitting down and having a friendly chat! I see there are many others here that equally love what you have to say.
Joanna
I have read all of Roberts other books and look forward to reading this one. I have made the plunge and moved into the B quadrant and am glad I have.

Hi Val,
You are so correct on the network marketing business model. It's set up so that anyone and everyone can succeed with the sincere help of those in the business.
Like you said, you learn as you go so you don't have to wait to get started. There is always someone there to help you from your start until you succeed and are now helping others to do the same.
Thanks for adding your valued input to my post.

Hi Nelson,
Thanks for your comment! I do feel that everyone needs to read Robert's books because, as you said, he knows what is happening and what will happen financially and he has the steps to benefit regardless.
I've been meaning to get his Conspiracy of the Rich book so I have been reminded by you that I need to do that asap.
Did you get The Business of the 21st Century yet? I'd love to hear your comments on it.
To your continued success!
Dawn and (Dave)
So happy to meet additional fans of Robert. I have his Rich Dad Poor Dad on my phone and I love to listen to it over and over again. They say repetition is key to using what you have heard and I so want to fully take action on what Robert teaches. I hope you'll continue to learn from Robert Kiyosaki and feel free to ask any questions.
Have a great day!
Dawn and (Dave)
Mandee,
I'm thrilled that you realized that a job was not a good use of your time, which is your most valuable asset. I'm excited for you as well as things are taking off for you. Just keep doing what you love and do it consistently and more success will come.
Reading any or better yet, all of Robert Kiyosaki books will be key to your continued success. It was his book with Donald Trump that turned our lives around. His book The Business of the 21st Century is one so outstanding for those who see the benefits of a network marketing business.
As a suggestion for finding the book, I had trouble finding the book at some book stores since it so so new so I found it on eBay.
I hope you read it and let me know how it effects you please.
To your continued success!
Dawn and (Dave)
Theuns,
I loved your comment. We are also amazed that so many just don't get it or don't want to get it. The start of improvement and change is always the individuals desire to make a change. As I wrote that I was reminded of Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich where he says the first step to success is a burning desire. So many people have allowed themselves to grow comfortable with the little they have in life. It is sad but only they can change themselves.
All we can do is continue to help those you deserve our help!
Thanks so much for your input.
Dawn and (Dave)
Eiji,
I'm not at all surprised that you've saved $10,000 in taxes in three years and more tax savings will be their way to you. Creating non-employee income that can be taxed at lower rates and creating tax deductions through your own home business is very key to building wealth as you pointed out!
I'm happy that you teach this fact to your coaching clients since everyone needs to be aware to take advantage.
Keep up the excellent work!
Dawn and (Dave)
Clare,
I'm glad you've read the book and you are so right about all the members of Corporate America, but they also have to want to change. That can be the toughest part! Let's keep helping others and trying to reach as many as we can.
To your continued success!
Dawn and (Dave)
Me too, Theuns! Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Edward,
I appreciate your comment as usual. You are right that the economy is shifting and not in the upward direction, and we have to be ready to succeed despite what is happening. Our focus must be in our family's economy and Robert tells us just how to do that.
I am also very glad to be on this journey together as well. You are such an influential leader!
We can all help each other succeed and that will guarantee our own success!
To your continued success!
Dawn and (Dave)
Melissa,
You said it so well and I'm thrilled you also benefit greatly from what Robert has to offer and share about the significance of network marketing. I also love the ability to do much of this from my home and not doing the Just Over Broke thing anymore. Like you said, we're building a Big Business and there is so much help to get us there!
Thanks so much for visiting our site and taking the time to comment!
Dawn and (Dave)
Hi Julie,
I'm thrilled to see your comment on my blog. Dave and I have been getting to know Edward quite well lately and since I know behind every great man, there is an equally great woman, I'm really looking forward to getting to know you well.
I love to meet other fans of Robert. It's great that you have your kids involved in Robert's game and teachings already. Your kids have begun the process at such an ideal point in their lives, and with everything they are learning from their parents, their futures will be unbelievably successful!
I found Robert's The Business of the 21st Century on Ebay. I failed to find it on many of the popular book stores since it is so new. I'd love to hear what you think of it so please let me know.
To Your Continued Success!
Dawn & (Dave)
Hi Christine,
Thanks for reading my post and making a comment! I can tell you'll love it and really be further inspired by Robert's latest book. From a woman in the business to another, I realized another of my passions after reading the chapter written by Kim Kiyosaki. We women need to help each other learn to create our own financial independence. The statistics Kim gives on the financial situation for most women is unbelievable. Please let me know if you feel the same way after reading the book.
To Your Success!
Dawn and (Dave)
Paul,
Thanks for your support and your comment. I'm happy that we (including you and so many like-minded people we've met) are aware of this fact. So many more need to know that they have the right and ability to pursue their own dreams!
Let's continue to spread the knowledge here on our blogs! I love what you share!
Dawn and (Dave)
Hey Dawn,
Thanks for this great post and review of Robert's latest book. We are in the middle of a shift in economy and business. Glad to be on the journey together. To your greatest success!
Make it a great day!
God Bless,

I love this book! Every member of Corporate America would have a business if they truly knew they could save taxes and ally their job insecurities at the same time!
Awesome Dave and Dawn!
Tax benefits are huge. Over the last 3 years, I saved over $10,000 in tax savings from having a business. It is a top wealth building strategy.
When I coach clients who are employees I share this strategy.
To Your Genius,
Eiji
I agree Paul
Amen to Robet Dawn , I sometime just sit and wander Why people don't what to listen to successful Jeewizzz!!! They tri to walk on there own and start to complain and if you offer help the don't want you to help them. Can people be so dum. Well i say also thank you for people like that because they serve us were ever we go, in the Shops Restaurants and the list go on. Great post
How true it is… if you're not working toward your own dreams, you're building someone else's. Now is the time: build your own dreams!
Hi Dawn,
I appreciate you sharing Robert's book as its one I've not yet read & as you mentioned, he is someone who has highly recommended network marketing for so many of its benefits.
Christine
Robert is right and Ed and I have just learned that in the past two years or being apart of one for the first time and it's a lot of fun. We have met so many great people. Love Roberts stuff. We play Cash flow on the computer and the kids Board game. We have not read Robert new book. I will have to go pick it you. Thank you for the great post and info on the book
Dawn,
This sounds like a great book. I've never read it nor have I heard of Robert Kiyosaki before, but I'm going to look into getting a copy for myself. I worked a few retail jobs for a while and found they weren't fulfilling and I had better things to do with my time. I've taken a year off and lived without a lot of income so I could learn as much as possible to prepare myself for the bigger picture. Things are just recently beginning to really take off and I'm having a blast.
Mandee
Thanks for sharing this. My husband and I have really enjoyed his teachings. We listened to his audio series a few months back.
Dave, Robert Kiyosaki has his pulse on the Economy for the 21st century. I have put off getting his books for far too long.(I'm addicted to Mystery novels) My next stop tomorrow is Barnes and Noble. Thanks for the push.
Very good review of Robert's book. The main theme of his books is always to be aware of what's available and make informed decisions. This business model provides support and training along with the choice to move forward at your own pace. You can learn as you go.
Thaks for sharing,
Val
robert's stamp of approval on our industry is such a beautiful testimony for the wise career choices we have made as networkers, the belief that anyone can achieve financial and time freedom, and the legitimacy of our businesses. i love how RK expands my thinking from being a small biz owner to operating a multi-million dollar well-oiled machine… all from the comfort of my own home. thanks cooks! =)
