Your girls are learning things at their age that I’m only now learning. How wonderful to know it while still young! I’d love to learn that game. Sounds like one of the games I made for my kids when I taught school — fun, but learning content at the same time!

Many years ago I attended Ropbert Kiyosaki’s “Money and You”. It was a powerful training in Financial literacy, and I have never forgotten some of the lessons I learned. I learned later that Robert was in $500K debt at that time, and teaching as he was learning.

Seems his lessons were right. Look at him now. Leveraged income for me!!

We ended up with two of these games and spent a lot of money on a course that my husband never saw through to the end. Very sad and actually I never sat down and played the game. I did read Rich Dad Poor Dad and really liked it. It was packed full of some good lessons – but unfortunately never got around to playing the game.

Hey there Dave and Dawn;

I just found this post of yours and I absolutely love the Cashflow game. My wife and I play regularly. I’d love to be able to come down down there some time soon and play with you guys. It’s great to know that you and Dawn are playing such a valuable game and teaching your kids financial literacy.

Personally; I don’t think the game is expensive at all when you think about the value and education it provides. I know you’re of the same mindset though and that’s why you play. Often I think people look too much to the dollar amount and not the value. As Robert says; it should never be “I can’t afford” instead it should be “How can I afford it?” then take action on that.

Hey Dave – I think it’s fantastic that games such as this are coming out. Another one that one of my team mates told me about and says he uses all the time as a great recruiting tool is MLM The Game (http://www.mlmthegame.com). I haven’t purchased it myself, but based on what he tells me and the success he’s had with people being absolutely enthralled with the game when he has house parties, it’s at the top of my list!
