Hi Dawn, nice o see you! I agree with you. I never learned how to write them, or even focus on them so it's kind of a challenge for me. I read SUCCESS Magazine and they always have a lot of information on goals. Thank goodness for the people who have learned before us so they can teach us , right?

Great post my friends.

The value of goals is so important in our lives. I would even push it up on level to define our core values in our lives and then from there derive our goals that are going to help us become them and deliver on them in everything we do in our life.

I don’t know how to explain it, but I just have this feeling that I’m going to die in a car wreck. I’m not really sure why I feel that way. Unless of course, it has something to do with the fact that I like to drive fast. However, with the feeling I get, I think someone else will run into me from the side or something.

Great post, goals are so important and often we neglect them and wonder why we’re not getting anywhere! Another great way to achieve your goals is to make them public, tell people about them that way you really have to get into gear and reach those goals. As you said, daily action is required, I think I had better go and revise mine…

Dawn,

On a daily basis, first thing in the morning, I try to go through my gratitude list and establish two mini goals to achieve for the day towards the bigger goal. Life is changing through the implementation of this strategy.

Great to see you doing more videos, Dawn. Thanks for the thoughts on having goals in EACH area of your life. Sometimes that’s the part that is easy to overlook.

Dawn! It’s great to see you doing more videos. Goal Setting is something that has really changed my life up to this point. When I first got started, I wrote down a few goals but didn’t really have deadlines set or action steps that I could start doing every day.

The coaches you’ve mentioned are the same ones that I have been studying over the past 2 years and I’ve found that goal setting allows for us to achieve what we really want to. Thanks for the great video!

Great to see you doing more videos Dawn! This is an awesome subject, so important for those of us who have taken charge of our own futures.

I’ve also made the mistake in the past of writing goals that were too generalized. The more specific and focused we make our goals, the more likely we are to achieve them.

For some reason I have always thought that I would die on my birthday. I don’t have any explanation for why I feel this way but I have felt that way for years and years. Each and every year I spend my birthday watching for falling pianos and feeling sure that I am having chest pains. Needless to say I do not look forward to my birthdays.
