Good reminders, Dave. I often get emails or messages from people who promise their latest product will make me a millionaire. Not only is it spam, but it's not even close to helping me find the solutions I need.

My online activities are mostly to find like-minded people who understand the importance of connecting with people first. As you pointed out, many are so anxious to get to the 'next' level that they try to jump past manners to get there. Spamming is not the way to reach your goals quickly.

Hi Dawn.
Thomas Edison is one of my favorite examples of success and effort for succeeding. We don't live too far from his actual lab here in NJ. It's interesting to see. I really think network marketing is the way of the future – the new economy and I agree with everything you said. These posts you're doing are very informative. Thank you!

We agree that having a network of people (relationships) is essential to any business. Yes, a few may succeed by doing it all alone, but that is rare. It is through relationships, support and sharing that we can all succeed.

Hey guys, it's amazing how many people think they can just join a company and their network will be built for them. It takes many years of dedication, hard work, learning, trial and error until eventually you succeed!

It's always great to think about the beginnings. I think the wild thing is that most Millionaires were made during economic downturns. Which we are in right now. So, one of us will be the next big thing.

I LOVE Thomas Edison example (especially as a former engineer)! It truly IS about the network and the connections. I KNOW electricity exists (to continue the metaphor) but it doesn't really matter unless I turn on the switch, the light won't go on.

Great post Dawn! Excited?! You got that right I sacrificed myself and my family wasting 16 years in “corporate America” building equity for somebody else until I finally woke up – nothing beats building your own network and creating equity for yourself and your family while helping others do the same. That's the beauty of the network marketing industry – it levels the playing field. Anyone who is willing to put in the effort necessary and stop at nothing but 100% success can do it.
