Wellness

Wellness has come to be a great significance in our lives.  We have learned that there are so many things you can do to promote your wellness as long as you are looking for them.  Our health is one of our most valuable assets, and we can have a huge impact on our health, both for the better or for the worst.  To impact our health and wellness for the better, we must take a proactive approach.  Without being proactive, we can be reactive and unconsciously do small things that negatively affect your health over the long run.

It is amazing how much knowledge is available on wellness and nutrition that we had ignored in the past.  We have our first introduction to a network marketing wellness product to thank for our new awareness of taking appropriate steps to protect and promote our personal wellness.  Since everyone has great interest in their health and wellness, we are anxious to share our new knowledge.  And we will continue to expand our knowledge in this critical area.

Our first wellness mentor is Paul Zane Pilzer.  His abundant knowledge on this issue are contained in his book, The New Wellness RevolutionPaul sees the big picture and he identifies how the “sickness” industry really works, and it’s not for our benefit.  Luckily there is a “wellness” industry that is growing everyday.  The wellness industry focuses on proactively staying well and preventing sickness, while the sickness industry is only ready to treat the symptoms of a sickness once its already developed.  After reading Paul Zane Pilzer’s book, we have a much better understanding of the importance of creating our own wellness, and we want to share this understanding with anyone who is interested.

You may have noticed that Paul Zane Pilzer is also one of our financial mentors.  He is amazing on his knowledge of both areas and he easily connects them.  In his opinion, the wellness industry is going to exceed $1 trillion dollars by 2010, and this growth will create an abundance of new millionaires.  We love that connection!

You may know our second wellness mentor since he has been on the Oprah Winfrey show.  His name is Dr. Nicholas Perricone, and he is an expert on how to use nutrition and whole foods to slow down the aging process.  His famous book is called The Perricone Promise-Look Younger, Live Longer in Three Easy Steps.  He starts by explaining how what we eat affects our overall health and can accelerate our aging process.  Much of this was brand new information to us and so valuable.  Next Dr. Perricone reviews the ten superfoods he has identified that benefit our wellness more than any others.

He provides even more in this book by including a 28-day program of recipes, breakfast, lunch and dinner, that use the ten superfoods.  Dr. Perricone predicts that after following this program, you will see a noticeable difference in your appearance and feelings of wellness.  We have not yet followed this 28-day program, but we have begun to incorporate many of the ten superfoods in our regular diet.  These are foods that we didn’t know the true health benefits of before, and are very happy to be giving our bodies a portion of what they really need.
